Public Officials from Saudi Arabia at Pulpit Rock
Some visits require more than just guiding — they require structure, discretion, and a well-planned experience from start to finish. Hosting a group of public officials from Saudi Arabia was exactly that.
The program was built around an overnight stay near the fjord, giving the group time to settle in, adjust, and experience the landscape before the hike itself. The evening set the tone — calm surroundings, good conversations, and a chance to step away from a busy schedule.
We started early the next day. With a structured yet flexible plan, we guided the group at a steady pace, ensuring comfort and flow throughout. These are not always typical hikers, so adapting the tempo and creating confidence along the way is key.
As we moved higher, the landscape opened up, and the group naturally settled into the experience. Fewer distractions, more focus on the surroundings.
The key moment came at the top of Pulpit Rock. Standing together above the Lysefjord, the group took time to absorb the scale and silence — a contrast to their everyday responsibilities.
What made this experience special was the planning behind it. As guides, we handled logistics, pacing, safety, and coordination across the overnight stay and the hike — ensuring a seamless and professional delivery throughout.
