Fjord & Mountain Biking in Norway

There is something special about exploring Norway from the saddle of a bike. You move slower than a car, faster than hiking, and suddenly every waterfall, fjord, mountain pass and tiny village becomes part of the journey — not just something you pass by through a window.

Southwest Norway is built for adventure cycling. Narrow fjord roads hanging above deep blue water. Long mountain climbs with views that seem unreal. Quiet valleys where sheep outnumber people. And hidden cafés, old ferry docks and small villages you would never discover on your own.

One of our favorite adventures starts deep inside the world-famous Lysefjorden. We bring you into Lysebotn, where the real challenge begins. From sea level, the road climbs through 27 legendary hairpin turns toward the mountain plateau. It is tough, beautiful and unforgettable. From there, the ride continues across wild mountain landscapes toward Sirdal, with overnight stays surrounded by fresh mountain air, silence and starry skies.

The next day? More mountains, rolling roads, lakes, forests and open landscapes toward Tonstad — or even all the way to Sira for those who want the full experience.

But cycling with us is not only about distance or performance. It is about memories. Coffee stops beside fjords. Swimming in mountain lakes after long climbs. Laughing through headwinds. Local stories. Hidden roads. Good food after a long day on the bike. This is real Norway — experienced properly.

More Than Just a Bike Ride

We combine world-class scenery with local knowledge, flexible support and authentic experiences. Whether you are looking for demanding mountain rides, scenic road cycling, gravel adventures or relaxed fjord explorations, we tailor the experience to your level and wishes.

  • Scenic cycling routes through fjords, mountains and quiet countryside
  • Support vehicle, luggage transport and flexible tour setups available
  • Local guides who know the hidden roads, cafés, viewpoints and stories

Cycling in Norway is not about racing from A to B. It is about feeling small beneath giant mountains. About reaching the top of a climb and realizing the view was worth every single pedal stroke. About sitting outside a small mountain lodge at the end of the day with tired legs, good food and stories already becoming memories.

Southwest Norway offers endless possibilities for riders who want something more than ordinary cycling holidays. You can ride beside the ocean one day and cross mountain plateaus the next. You can explore hidden fjord roads around Jøssingfjord, cycle historic stretches near Sogndalstrand or push yourself through legendary climbs around Lyseheiane.

And the best part? The roads are often quiet. The nature feels untouched. And the experience feels real.

Epic Routes — Without The Stress

We help plan the details, logistics, transport, overnight stays and route options so you can focus on the ride itself. Ride hard, enjoy the scenery and let us handle the rest.
