Pulpit Rock Adventure – Designed for day visitors
Join us for a guided hike to the world-famous Pulpit Rock, with transportation from Stavanger, spectacular views over Lysefjorden and a relaxed, personal experience with a local guide.
About This Tour
If you're visiting Stavanger and only have one day to experience the region, this is probably the day we'd recommend to our own friends.
Join TrollAdventure for a relaxed and personal journey to the famous Pulpit Rock. Along the way, you'll travel through some of the landscapes that make this corner of Norway so special – mountains, lakes, winding roads and small places with stories that rarely make it into the guidebooks.
The hike to Pulpit Rock is one of Norway's most famous, but for us, the day is about much more than simply reaching the viewpoint. We want you to experience Norway with locals – people who know where to stop for the best photos, how to read the constantly changing mountain weather, and why Norwegians have learned never to completely trust a perfect forecast.
TrollAdventure was founded by brothers John and Gerten with a simple idea: to give visitors the kind of experience we would want our own friends to have when visiting Norway. While we can't personally guide every tour, every guide is chosen with that same philosophy in mind – be welcoming, keep people safe, share good stories and, most importantly, make sure everyone has a great day.
Many of our guests return to Norway again and again. We'd love to be one of the reasons you do too.
And if you're arriving by cruise ship, you can relax knowing that we understand how important your schedule is. This tour is specifically designed with cruise guests in mind, and we carefully plan the day around ship arrival and departure times. Should your ship's schedule change, we'll always do our best to adjust and make your Pulpit Rock experience possible.
