TrollAdventure - Guided Hiking Tours & Norwegian Adventures

I went on this tour in May, and I loved it! Even though I was the only one who showed up, Gert, my guide, still took me on the full tour, which I really appreciated. The sights were stunning, and each stop offered something special, but the highlight for me was the Månafossen waterfall. Photos don’t do it justice—it’s so much more impressive in person. The hike up to the waterfall was VERY steep and challenging, but it’s short and the view at the top made it worth the effort. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Stavanger!

Great hike! Challenging at times with steep slopes. But you can safely go up and down holding on to the railings provided. The three swords monument is impressive and the cakes we ate at the farm were delicious. Thank you. I totally recommend it!

We went for a hiking trip to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) with Gert. We had a fun time with him from start till the end of tour. He is professional and explains the route before and during the hike so that inexperienced hikers like us knew what to expect. Gert is friendly and always looking out and waiting for us when we needed a rest. This hike uses a lot of quads and inner thighs muscles so be prepared. The views from Preikestolen overlooking Lysefjord were so breathtaking and we were truly rewarded from this "easy" hike (by Norwegian standards). Tussen tak!

We have the time off our life!! Best day ever. Troll adventure show us the best off norway and they take time to show us a lot. They help me with the climb to manafossen and take a lot off pictures. When we go home all the pictures they make all ready in my email, what a big suprise!! See you next year!!

Gert was the most fantastic tour guide ever!!! Our day was awesome seeing the sites, natural & man made, trying new foods & so so many laughs. Super accomodating & I would highly recommend him & his tours any day.

Had a fabulous day on the tour to Mánafossen. Originally my tour was cancelled but Gert kindly rescheduled and I was very lucky to end up having a private tour! Gert was very knowledgeable, friendly and interesting. The hike to the waterfall was strenuous but not too long and we were rewarded with fabulous views. Thanks Gert for an amazing day! Highly recommended.

Best part of our entire trip! John helped us arrange a custom experience so that we could make the most of our limited time at port. We took a RIB boat tour of the Fjord with a custom stop to allow us to join John and hike to Pulpit Rock. Due to the boat tour we took the more challenging trail to Pulpit Rock and returned to basecamp via the standard route. The hike was challenging, though well worth it if you are able. The entire hike was full of breathtaking scenery and views. John was an amazing guide with personal touches making it a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys hiking and is up for a challenge!

It was an amazing hike with Gert. He is on time and knows this region very well. He takes great photos and recommends lots of cool places. He likes to share stories with people which inspired me a lot. The hiking trail has breathtaking views. You will see the Lysefjord just under your feet. Enjoy the pastry and drinks on the top. Next time, I would like to try the challenging trail with Gert. 🙂
