Itinerary
Meet your guide in Stavanger or at the agreed pickup point. We go through the plan for the day before departure.
Travel through the countryside and valleys south-east of Stavanger towards Frafjord and Månafossen.
Hike from the trailhead to viewpoints overlooking Månafossen, one of the region's best-known waterfalls.
Continue to Gloppedalsura to see the large boulder field and learn about the landscape and local history of the area.
Stop at Byrkjedalstunet before the return journey, with time for a break depending on the day's schedule.
Drive back to Stavanger after a varied day of hiking, local history and mountain scenery.
