Waterfalls, Fjords & Viking Stories
Discover Trolltunga on an unforgettable guided mountain adventure through the spectacular landscapes of Norway.
About This Tour
If you're curious about Norway's mountains, fjords, waterfalls and local history, but not necessarily interested in spending several hours hiking, this might be exactly your kind of day.
Join TrollAdventure for a relaxed journey through some of Rogaland's most impressive landscapes. We'll travel past narrow fjords, peaceful lakes, steep mountainsides and valleys that have shaped local life for generations. Along the way, we'll stop at places many visitors never get to see.
The highlight of the day is the mighty Månafossen, one of Norway's tallest waterfalls. A short but steep walk takes us to a viewpoint where thousands of litres of mountain water thunder down the cliffside below. Don't worry. The trail is much shorter than it looks from the parking lot. Norwegians simply enjoy making the last part slightly uphill.
We'll also visit the enormous boulder field of Gloppedalsura, enjoy a stop at the charming Byrkjedalstunet, and finish the day at the iconic Swords in Rock monument overlooking Hafrsfjord, where the story of Norway's unification began more than a thousand years ago.
This isn't just a sightseeing tour. It's a day spent with locals who genuinely enjoy sharing the places we call home.
