THE DUTCH TOWN
This old part of the town got its name from broad exchanges with Holland from the 1600th until the 1800th century. The Dutch came to Flekkefjord strictly to purchase wood and rocks. Talk has it that stones from Flekkefjord are found under Schiphol air terminal in Amsterdam! This comfortable town region, with whitewashed wooden houses, picket walls, and lavish Gardens is an aftereffect of the rich herring fishing that occurred in the early long stretches of the nineteenth century. A walk through the limited paths will make you absorb the old history.
BRUFJELL HULENE
Brufjell mountain’s most elevated point is 184 meters above ocean level and offers an awesome view over the Lista scene. On a beautiful sunny morning, you will see the beacon at Lista. From the highest point of Brufjell, there is a stamped trail, on the west side of the top, that prompts the potholes that lie evenly at 20 m above ocean level.
